About Us

Children’s Haven Child Care Center (referred to hereafter as CHCCC) is a non-profit child care center (501 c 3) located at 2600 S. Sheridan Blvd., Denver, CO 80227.  CHCCC accepts services from both CCCAP families and private pay families in Denver, Jefferson, Adams, Arapahoe and Douglas counties, or any other county desiring representation.  Located at the intersection of south Sheridan Blvd. and Vassar Ave., CHCCC was formed in late 2004 as a non-profit corporation succeeding a previous organization formed in 1988.

CHCCC specializes in the CCCAP (Colorado Child Care Assistance Program) — a Colorado program that assists low income families along with a specialized program designed specifically for Teen Parents, allowing teens that have children to remain in school while their children receive loving care.  Teen parents also receive classes in parenting.

CHCCC also welcomes private pay parents as well.  Almost 75% of enrollment is utilized for CCCAP.   This location is equipped with a coded keypad security entrance along with an individual pin numbers.  CHCCC provides quality child care for infants, toddlers, preschool children, before and after school children as well as a full summer program for all ages.  The summer program includes structured programs, interesting field trips and large indoor and outdoor play areas for children ages 2 through 12 yrs of age.

Children of teen parents are welcome.  High priority is given to enrollment of teen parent children enabling those young parents to remain in school (please visit our Teen Parents Page).
